About This Tour
Kazbegi is more than a destination — it's a feeling. The moment you see Gergeti Trinity Church against the backdrop of Mount Kazbegi, you understand why travelers come from all over the world. This is one of those places where photos can't capture the full experience — you have to be there, breathing the mountain air, hearing the silence, feeling the history beneath your feet.
The journey is just as beautiful as the destination. We'll drive along the legendary Georgian Military Highway, one of the most scenic roads in the Caucasus. Along the way, we'll stop at Ananuri Fortress — a medieval castle complex overlooking the Aragvi River — and continue to the Gudauri Panorama viewpoint, where a massive mosaic mural celebrates the friendship between Russia and Georgia while offering jaw-dropping views of the valley below.
Once we arrive in Stepantsminda (the town formerly known as Kazbegi), the real magic begins. We'll head up to Gergeti Trinity Church, perched at 2,170 meters with the snow-capped peak of Mount Kazbegi towering behind it. Whether you choose to hike up or ride in a 4x4, the reward is the same — one of the most iconic views in all of Georgia. This is a day you won't forget.
