I've been driving the roads of Georgia my whole life, but it wasn't until 2017 that I turned my passion into something more. I'd always loved showing friends and family the places I grew up with — the mountain passes, the ancient monasteries, the family-run wineries tucked away in Kakheti. One day a friend of a friend from abroad asked if I could show them around. That trip changed everything.
What started as a favor quickly became my calling. I realized that travelers didn't just want a driver — they wanted someone who could bring the country to life. Someone who knew the back roads, the best churchkhela stands, the viewpoints that aren't on Google Maps. Someone who genuinely loved sharing this place. That's how Suar Travel was born.
Today, after hundreds of tours and guests from all over the world, I still feel the same excitement every time someone sees the Caucasus mountains for the first time or tastes real Georgian wine straight from a qvevri. Every tour is personal to me because Georgia isn't just where I work — it's my home, and sharing it with you is my greatest joy.
